First up, we were seeing red from June 2020’s Record of the Month: acclaimed folk-rock singer-songwriter Phoebe Bridgers album Punisher. We had the privilege to offer our members a red pressing of this huge hit record.
Another very cool translucent colored vinyl record was May 2020’s Record of the Month. The incredible sophomore album Rearrange Us by rock band Mt. Joy pressed on a translucent yellow.
Next up was the Record of the Month from October 2020. We offered the most recent album from Darlingside, Fish Pond Fish, on an exclusive clear pink vinyl with gold flecks! It’s gorgeous and was a perfect ray of light to counter the change of the seasons.
Back in December 2020, we made the first ever pressing of select Spotify Singles to vinyl on the Magnolia Record Club Presents: Spotify Singles record. This compilation featuring The Lumineers, Phoebe Bridgers, Mt. Joy, Rayland Baxter, Judah & The Lion, and many more was pressed on this very cool ghostly green colored vinyl record.
Maggie Rogers made waves after being discovered by Pharrell Williams in a music master class so it makes sense to press Maggie Rogers’ debut album, “Heard It In A Past Life” on exclusive blue vinyl for our monthly vinyl club subscribers back in January 2019.
We love July 2021’s Record of the Month representing violet! We are bringing our members the new album from the UK songwriter, Yola. Members receive Stand For Myself on clear and purple splatter vinyl!
Now that we’ve gone through the colors of the rainbow, how about some neutrals? Check out Roll The Bones X from Shakey Graves pressed on the warm brown splatter. This anniversary album celebrates 10 years since the release of Roll The Bones and came with 15 additional tracks.
Although black vinyl is the traditional record color, Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors pressed their new album Dragons exclusively for our monthly vinyl club members on black and white vinyl!
For an amazing look at a multicolor vinyl record, is Thad Cockrell’s newest release If In Case You Feel The Same. This May 2021 vinyl record of the month club pick is on this gorgeous mix of red, purple, and blue swirl.
One more really cool color mix is the colored vinyl record from January 2021 by Langhorne Slim called Strawberry Mansion. This is a collection of 18 songs pressed on a mix of cream and red.
